Privacy Policy
The short version: the tools run in your browser, nothing you paste is ever uploaded, and there are no tracking cookies on this site.

1. What this site does with your input
Nothing. Every tool on DevSnap is implemented in JavaScript that runs inside your browser. The value you paste into a tool is processed by the page you are looking at and is never transmitted to us, because there is no endpoint that would receive it.
You can verify this independently: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the network panel, and use any tool. The only request that appears is the one that loaded the page.
2. Server logs
Like any web server, the host that serves this site keeps standard access logs containing the requested URL, the referring page, the browser's user-agent string, the request timestamp and the IP address. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, are retained for a short period, and are not combined with any profile of you.
A tool's input never appears in those logs, because it is never sent.
3. Advertising and cookies
This site is funded by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
We do not set our own tracking cookies, we do not operate a behavioural advertising system, and we do not build a profile of you across sites. We do use privacy-friendly, aggregate traffic measurement to understand which pages are useful.
4. Analytics
We record aggregate, non-identifying usage data such as which pages are visited and which country the request came from, in order to know which tools are worth maintaining. This data is not used to build a profile of individual visitors and is not shared with third parties.
5. Local storage
Some tools remember a preference, such as the theme you selected in the snapshot tool or the options you chose in a formatter. That state is stored in your browser's local storage, on your device, and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
6. Third-party content
Pages may contain outbound links to other websites. Once you follow one, that site has its own privacy policy and its own data practices, over which we have no control.
7. Children
This site is a developer utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Since we do not collect personal information beyond standard server logs and aggregate analytics, there is very little to request. If you have a question anyway, contact us.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. We will not retroactively apply a weaker policy to data collected under a stronger one.
